Scoliosis Patient posted an update 2 years ago
I’m 81 years old, with severe scoliosis, in almost constant pain. I’m beyond any surgical options. I’m allergic to all kind of foods and medicines. Up until recently only took pain medication as last resort because of nausea and other side effects. I was recently in ER for abdominal pain when a anti-nausea drug was given along with the pain medicine.
Chances of abdominal abnormality has been ruled out. Now thinking is that it may be Celiac or severe gluten sensitivity.
I’ve been in and out of the ER recently as PCP suggested that I should start drinking Whey Protein to put on weight as I’m extremely under weight. But the Whey Protein had soy in it which I’m allergic to. I’m also allergic to steroids. This all flared my Asthma and produced non-stop itchy rash. Now I’m unable to sleep and has no appetite.
Is there anybody in this world who is battling similar distress? Can someone suggest a healing ??
