Type 2 Diabetes is a common disease which occurs when your body cannot maintain proper insulin levels. This results in  your pancreas making too much insulin, and then consequently, not having enough. Although the complications from Type 2 Diabetes can be severe, prevention and catching it early make a world of difference.

What are the symptoms?

  • Inexplicable thirst
  • Tingling in extremities
  • Fatigue / irritation
  • Frequent urination
  • Recurring infections
  • Blurry vision

Who is at risk?

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, or are concerned you are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes, your best bet is to see a doctor. If you don’t fall under any of these categories, it is still important to prevent your chances of developing diabetes.
