Make light exercise a part of your routine
Lets face it: most of us don’t have the time (or desire, let’s be honest) to spend several hours a week at the gym. Instead, commit yourself to doing daily activities that get you moving that you actually enjoy. You don’t have to feel miserable on an elliptical to make changes that your body will appreciate. Simply taking a twenty-minute walk on the beach will give your body a boost of energy.
Drink green tea
Green tea is a wonderful way to kick your metabolism into high gear. It has shown to have a significantly positive fat burning effect on the body. If you aren’t a fan of tea, you can also pour green tea extract in your water to achieve the same effect.
Don’t diet: alter your eating habits
Although dieting will show quicker results it does not have a great potential to last long-term. Instead, make smaller adjustments to your meals that will pay off in the long run. For example, substitute butter for olive oil on your bread. Drink your coffee black. When craving something sweet, reach for fruit instead of dessert. Little habits will pay off more in the long run.
Your best at getting in shape is to adopt habits into your daily routine that give you energy and inspiration! When you feel good, you look good. Don’t burn yourself out with trying to drastically alter your lifestyle, smaller changes are easier to make.
